SDS Batrep - The Raid Part 1

We had another great afternoon of gaming and managed to get in several games of Song of Drums & Shakos.  We started with a couple of small games since Justo (uncle greasy) showed up for his first intro to the game.  I think he's hooked!  Jil is the French, and Justo the Brits, and I umpired.  Here is the first of three episodes, this one being really short.

I told you it was short!  Episode 2 tomorrow.

  1. I like the sky background you've used here, although in some pics it looks like you're gaming at the edge of the world!

  2. Jil has some printed sky scenes on foamboard, and when we remember to do it, it is fun to hold them for the pics. BUT you are spot on! I keep telling him we need a tree line or mountains etc.. because it looks like the world is still flat!

  3. In any case, it still looks a lot better than our beer guts!

  5. Great batreps but I just couldn't get excited about Napoleonics at the skirmish level.

  6. I'm glad the sky backdrop added an extra umph to the already cool table set up. I'm working on getting another with mountains, etc. In the meanwhile just squint a bit and pretend there's a cliff there. ;)
