What a great weekend! It's been real quiet on my blog the last few days because of Mag Con 2, one of our local Houston Cons. I've managed to actually get my fill of gaming, at least for a day or two. There were so many games being played that there would be no way to show pics of all of them so here's just some snaps from stuff I was either involved in or that caught my eye. We played Sharp Practice but unfortunately there are no surviving pictures to prove it. I have no idea what happened, but it pisses me orf. Enjoy!
Hi, The King of the Ring is a free game from Chien Sauvage. It's so fun and quick that it's played in every Con in France.
ReplyDeletehttp://bobouest.canalblog.com/ the blog of the author (in french)
Thanks! It is very fun indeed. And now it will be played at every Con in Texas!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the convention too. Great to see some pictures of things I did not get to see. Great meeting you Willy!
ReplyDeleteSame back at you Dale. And since you ran my games half the time I got to go goof off and play a little!
ReplyDeleteThat is some lovely stuff there, excellent.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have been there! There's some seriously nice eye candy amongst your pics.
ReplyDeleteLooks great. I love the rice paddies.
ReplyDeleteBrian has a super professional Charlie Don't Surf table, that's a fact. When a napalm strike comes in, he has some very cool props for that as well but I missed getting picks. I bet they are on the web some place. I need to ask him.
ReplyDeleteSome really nice games there LTL Dad and superb piccies as always!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics but the font you've used hurts my old eyes! :- (
ReplyDeleteHairy Ray

ReplyDeleteSome great pics man! Only gripe I have is that the font on some of the titles gets pretty hard to read.

Sorry about the text guys. I was really tired and too lazy to change it, but I should have.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the links Jules.
No worries man, I might try my hand at translating the full package of rules (there are 2-3 variants), if and when I do, I'll sling you a copy.
ReplyDeleteKing of the Ring looks fun. Still looking for an easy to read English version of the rules(without much success)...
ReplyDeleteBrendan,
ReplyDeleteI just emailed a buddy for the rules. I'll post when I get them.
Bren, got the rules for you in English. You have an email you want me to send them to?
ReplyDeleteDoes it include the variants?
